There was an article on the blogging phenomenon in last Sunday's NYTimes Book Review. Goes to show that I'm not all that committed to my own lonely blog?!?! Sorry, no link.

Here's something that's both free and interesting ... it's a simple bit of code that allows you to self-publish a message board. Simple is the key word here. Very, very simple. It's called Tag-Board ... did I mention that it's free?
