Kodak Ships Wi-Fi Digital Camera

A Kodak employee, not pictured, demonstrates the Kodak EasyShare-one camera searching for a wireless network at a coffe shop in Rochester, N.Y., Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005. Eastman Kodak Co. has just begun shipping a groundbreaking digital camera that, within range of hotels, coffee shops, airport lounges, offices, homes and other wireless hot spots, can deliver high-quality pictures directly onto the Internet and into e-mail boxes around the globe. Priced at $599, the EasyShare-One sends photos and videos via wireless access at home or work. It also works with T-Mobile USA's 6,000 hot spots at stores, airports, hotels, etc. (including for example Starbucks). But, disappointingly, it won't work with other Wi-Fi carriers!
